Delete your account

You can delete your N-Way account at any time, in the app or by email. You don't need the app installed to ask by email.

In the app

Open N-Way and tap your profile picture, next to the search bar.
Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away, on Android, iPhone and nways.ng.

By email

Send an email to privacy@nways.ng with the subject "Delete my N-Way account", from the email address you signed in with (Apple or Google). If you used Apple's "Hide my email", tell us that and we'll help you confirm it's you. We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What is deleted

Your account: name, email address, profile picture and the Apple or Google sign-in linked to it.
All your sign-ins on every phone.
Your saved places (Home, Work and others), your trip history, your car and its fuel details.
The link between your account and your phones' device IDs, and your map points.
For Apple sign-in, N-Way's access to your Apple ID is revoked.

What stays

Entrance photos, entrances and road reports you added help other people find their way, so they stay on the map, no longer linked to you. Road reports expire on their own within hours (roadwork within a week). You can delete your own entrance photos any time in Profile, then Ratings & Photos. If you'd like them removed too, say so in your email and we'll remove them.
