Codes
A code for every concession, from Kaloum to the forest.
The name of your quartier or village and a number said in pairs, unique in the whole country: Hafia 3 · 1230 leads a courier, a taxi or an ambulance to your gate. Codes start provisional and are confirmed by the people who live there.

Crossing from Sierra Leone
Freetown to Conakry, through Gbalamuya and Pamelap.

- Bring a passport, ECOWAS ID card or travel certificate, a yellow fever card, and for the car its papers and an ECOWAS Brown Card.
- In daylight: the Guinea side works about 08:00 to 18:30; the border can close at short notice.
- Checkpoints on the road to Conakry check papers and bags. Pay only at an official counter, and keep the receipt.
