What works in Nigeria
Made in Lagos, for Nigerian roads.
Nigeria is where N-Way started, and where it does the most.
Postcodes to the door
NIPOST building postcodes fill in like a number plate as you type, and the drive ends with green dots from the car park to the entrance.
Police ahead, and your rights
Drivers report checkpoints as they pass. You hear “Police ahead” in time, and one tap shows what to do and who to report misconduct to.
Fuel and tolls in naira
Litres for every trip for your car and today's traffic, tolls up front with routes that avoid them, and a warning before you run low.
Trains
The Lagos Blue and Red Lines, Lagos–Ibadan, the Abuja Metro, Abuja–Kaduna, Warri–Itakpe and Port Harcourt–Aba.
Lagos ferries
Boat routes across the lagoon, from Ikorodu and Badore to CMS, Falomo and Apapa, with how often they run and the fare where it's known.
Traffic lights and road signs
Lights at street level, “At the traffic light” in the turn, green road signs as you see them, and lane arrows.

Police checkpoints
Police ahead. And your rights, one tap away.
You hear the alert in time, and the rights card says what to do: stay calm, keep your hands visible, and don't pay money at a checkpoint.
- A lawful fine comes with an official receipt.
- Report misconduct to the Police Complaint Response Unit, 24 hours a day.
- Recordings stay on your phone unless you choose to back them up.

Leaving Nigeria by road
Seme is where the road to Cotonou, Lomé and Accra begins.
Drive to Benin and N-Way names the Seme–Kraké joint border post in your steps, where Nigeria and Benin check you in one place, and switches your tolls and fuel to F CFA on the other side.
- Bring a passport or an ECOWAS travel certificate, and a yellow fever card.
- For the car, its papers and an ECOWAS Brown Card: ask your Nigerian motor insurer before you go.
- Benin is on the same clock as Nigeria; Togo and Ghana are an hour behind.

Checked 12 October 2026. Sources: Nigeria Immigration Service, ECOWAS (Seme–Kraké joint post), ECOWAS Brown Card, WHO (yellow fever).
