What works in Togo
From the coast to the Savanes, on one map.
N-Way speaks French when your phone does, menus and voice included, and you can switch to English in Profile. Here's what you get on Togo's roads.
Search by name
Places, streets and businesses in all five regions. Togo has no street postcodes, so search by the name of the place.
Turn-by-turn, in French or English
Spoken directions, lane arrows and road signs, with the region you're in shown on the map, like “Maritime · Togo”.
The clock change
Arrival times show on Togo's clock, with its zone. Coming from Benin, N-Way tells you clocks go back an hour.
Tolls and fuel in F CFA
Togo charges one national toll price: 500 F CFA for a car. Fuel cost uses Togo's regulated pump price.
Traffic lights called out
Lights show on the map at street level in Lomé and beyond, and the turn says “At the traffic light”.
Police and your rights
“Police ahead” from other drivers' reports, and the free 1014 line to report racketeering, with Togo's emergency numbers.
Main cities
The regional capitals, from the coast to the north. Search any of them, or a street or business inside.

Borders with Benin and Ghana
Two borders, 53 km apart.
On the coast road you come in from Benin at Hillacondji–Sanvee-Condji and leave for Ghana at Lomé-Kodjoviakopé–Aflao. Both have separate posts: you stop on each side. N-Way names them in your steps and shows the banks near each post.
- From Benin: clocks go back one hour, from West Africa Time to GMT.
- Togokomé toll on the RN2 between Aného and Lomé: 500 F CFA for a car, cash at the booth.
- Into Ghana: same clock, but the money changes to cedis, and English is spoken. N-Way offers a translator first.
- Bring a passport or ECOWAS travel certificate, a yellow fever card, and for the car its papers and an ECOWAS Brown Card.
